Michelle Godin

Michelle Godin has over 20 years of dance experience, Michelle brings to her work a passion to express and share the art of dance.  Eager to teach, she gained certification through Dance Masters of America and the Canadian Dance Teachers’ Association.  Michelle began as Assistant Director of the Ida Sauve Dance Studios in her hometown of Sudbury, Ontario.  After taking part in several local art projects and co-directing a studio of her own for 2 years, she made the move west to Calgary where she continues to teach Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Acrobatics around the city and surrounding areas.  She is also a Master Instructor and Examiner for the Acrobatique AcroDance syllabus and travels regularly as a guest instructor, choreographer and adjudicator.  Michelle is also no stranger to the stage.  As a performer, she distributes herself amongst several different genres and types of projects.  Some credits include the Northern Lights Festival Boreal, Fab Feet “Tap Into Your Heart”, World Junior Hockey Championships, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald "YES" and “I Wanna Make It With You”, Anvil Awards, WE Day, SAM Awards and Shell to name a few.  She has been a member of ‘O2 The Dance Company’ since 2011 and has been involved on and off the stage in all productions since.
