Andrew Clifton
Event Director

Andrew Clifton is a choreographer, interpreter, and dance educator based in Tkaronto,
Ontario who specializes in contemporary and modern movement practices. Andrew began
working in the musical theater world and received training in dance as well as vocals and theatre
acting. He trained in ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and tap at a competitive level. By adding
modern training; specifically Limon to his repertoire in high school, he then became a company
member at Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre and set his path to continue dance as a career.
Andrew has worked with many creatives including Alysa Pires, Susie Burpee, Colin Connor,
Hanna Kiel & Ryan Lee. He received the Jack McAllistor Award for his proven abilities in dance
and was a nominee for the Hnatyshyn Foundation’s “Developing Artist’s Grant” in 2024.
Andrew graduated on the dean’s list in the spring of 2025 from Toronto Metropolitan University
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and is currently an event director and brand-coordinator for
VIEW Dance Challenge.
