Andrew Kyrzyk

Contemporary

Andrew Kyrzyk is an award winning professional dancer, teacher, choreographer,
adjudicator and DJ from Winnipeg, Canada. Andrew is known in the industry for
his versatility, work ethic and attention to detail. He has trained extensively in
ballet, jazz, contemporary, jazz funk, lyrical, heels, tap, acro, latin ballroom,
theatre and many street styles. Upon graduating high school in Winnipeg,
Andrew moved to Toronto where he found his love for working in film and
television and has since worked on well over 30 TV & Film productions on
networks such as Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV, Nickelodeon and HBO
to name a few. A few of these credits include Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies,
Schmigadoon!, Ginny & Georgia, Disney’s ZOMBIES 1, 2 & 3, Sneakerella, and
Sonic the Hedgehog 2. His dance career has brought him to cities such as Los
Angeles, Montreal and most recently London where he worked on the upcoming
feature film version of the musical “Wicked”. He has had the opportunity to dance
for pop artists such as Meghan Trainor, Shawn Mendes, Deborah Cox, Blake
McGrath, Capital Cities & Serena Ryder and has performed in several
commercials and events for Cineplex, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, L’Oréal, Pan
Am Games and World Pride.
Although film is his forté, he never stays off the stage for too long. He’s danced in
musicals such as Dance Legends, Cats The Musical and “Dancer”, a musical
choreographed by three time Emmy Nominee, Stacey Tookey. He has also had
the privilege to work with Emmy Award Nominees such as Jamal Sims,
Christopher Gatelli, Christopher Scott, Louise Hradsky, Jeffrey Mortensen and
Emmy Award Winners such as Tessandra Chavez, Mandy Moore, Kenny Ortega,
Heather Laura Gray and Debra Brown.
Alongside Andrew’s dance career he works as a choreographer, teacher and
adjudicator. He travels across Canada adjudicating dance competitions and
teaching workshops, intensives, and master classes at dance conventions and
studios. He has choreographed pieces for Team Canada, various music videos
and several award winning competitive routines. You can see Andrew’s
choreography on the Family Channel television series “Backstage”, where he
worked as the associate choreographer to JJ Moore.
Andrew currently lives in Vancouver where he continues to work on his craft and
take his career to new heights. He’s excited for the future and what’s to come!
