Andrew Mikhaiel
Ballet

Originally from Mississauga, Canada, Andrew Mikhaiel is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. He toured nationally and internationally as a company dancer with Ballets Jazz Montréal, performing works by acclaimed choreographers such as Alexandra Damiani, Andonis Foniadakis, Anne Plamondon, Aszure Barton, Barak Marshall, Crystal Pite, Ihsan Rustem, Itzik Galili, Jo Strømgren, Juliano Nunes, Larry Keigwin, and Paul Taylor, among others. In 2024, Andrew was promoted to Artistic Manager of the company.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in ballet from Marymount Manhattan College and attended Springboard Danse Montréal in 2016. Andrew is also a certified member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (B.A.T.D.).
As an educator, he has been on faculty for BJM_360, NYCDA’s Winter Contemporary Intensive, Rutherford Movement Exchange, Candance Competition, VIEW Dance Convention, and Northern Movement, and has served as a guest teacher at Steps on Broadway.
In addition to his dance credentials, Andrew recently completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Renew and the NTY/Oxygen Express Methodized Training in 2025. He is passionate about working with dancers of all ages and abilities, helping them strengthen their technique, deepen their artistry, and ignite their passion for dance.
