Andrew Mikhaiel

Andrew Mikhaiel is a Canadian dancer, teacher, and choreographer originally from Mississauga. He toured nationally and internationally as a company dancer with Ballets Jazz Montréal, performing works by renowned choreographers including Crystal Pite, Andonis Foniadakis, Aszure Barton, and Juliano Nunes, just to name a few. In addition to performing, Andrew served as the company’s Artistic Coordinator/Manager and currently is an Artistic Consultant for the company.

Most recently, Andrew has performed with Cirque du Soleil and is an ensemble dancer in the musical production Évangéline. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in Ballet from Marymount Manhattan College and is also a certified acrobatics, yoga and fitness instructor.

Andrew has been on faculty for BJM_360, NYCDA’s Winter Contemporary Intensive, Rutherford Movement Exchange, Candance, VIEW Dance Convention, and LEAD Collective. He has also been a guest teacher and choreographer at various studios, schools, and dance institutions including EDCM and ESBQ. He is passionate about working with dancers of all ages and abilities, helping them build strong technique, deepen their artistry, and connect to the joy of movement.
